The Macville Foundation is a registered private Canadian charity that provides funding to Canadian colleges and universities for scholarships.
Established in 2002, The Foundation funds awards to students who are residents of Vancouver Island. Awards are made in July of each year on the basis of academic excellence and financial need. Awardees are selected at arm’s length to the Foundation and by committees established by partner colleges and universities.
The Foundation has no employees and its Directors receive no remuneration. Administrative costs average less than 0.1% of assets.
The Foundation assists deserving Vancouver Island students acquire marketable skills through higher education.
